Next I tried running the Windows Dx tool to fix it, but it does nothing because it says I already have a more recent version of Dx installed. I've tried modifying the "FullScreen" settings to 1, which did nothing (I returned all 3 to "0"). Recently I went to replay the game, and I keep getting this error message every time I try to start Serious Sam 3.

I have previously played this game on this laptop without issue.
